nicely done and I like the slo-mo inserts. it would be interesting to see a shot of your camera attached to the airframe. thanks

Thanks!
The mount isn't really anything special. I used one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Pedco-UltraPod...2427816&sr=8-2
To strap the camera to the keel of the glider (aluminum tube extension that sticks out the back of the glider, visible at the top of the frame.)

awesome video! if you are to experiment with this again, might i suggest lining up the very bottom of the wing with the top of the camera frame, so that it is just out of frame. I think we would still be able to then see all the mountain tops in front of us, though may be able to see a bit more below us due to the ultrawide view of this lens. im assuming this video was all at 7mm? what were some of your other settings? did you start with 720 60p or 1080 24p/30i? great job, nonetheless! just want to add that I do like that we can see the wings in this shot, just interested in what else can be done, especially with this lens!

Yeah 7mm, 720 60p.
I plan do do a lot of experimenting with this camera lens combo. I also have the Olympus 8mm fisheye lens for 4/3rd mount which is awesome on the GH1 (see http://vimeo.com/6662741 ). But its pretty heavy which makes mounting it on the glider difficult. Heavier camera needs bulkier mounting hardware and the weight can throw the balance of the glider all out of whack. The Panasonic 7-14mm is tiny and super light (micro 4/3 ftw!) making it much easier for in flight video.
