What is the best way to use my Chimera it has a inner panel and a outer panel. Not sure how they are supposed to work with each other. I just used the outer panel. So far so good but would like to know my options. Thanks! 8)

I presume you're talking about the extra panel of fabric diffusion? Use it to cut the output of light. The proximity to your subject may help determine if you use it or not. The most valuable accessory to add to a Chimera, in my opinion, would be an eggcrate diffuser (velcros to the front). They do a great job of controlling spill without losing light on the subject.

Thanks PrestonH Yeah the eggcrate is next! Which % do you recomend on the eggcrate? I sort of thought it might be like a scrim or something. Does one usually use the outer or inner one if I just use the one? 8)

I used a small 40 degree (which I believe is middle of the road). Makes an amazing difference.
Unless my Chimera is different than yours, one diffuser is fixed. The loose one I have fixed (via velcro) to the inside. Lately, I haven't been using it at all. Both are the same density fabric.
