    Tester13.
Please check out the link below.
    http://www.semicon.panasonic.co.jp/e...DLBuilder2.php
I downloaded the DebugFactory software from there and it seems that it contains an assembler and CC compiler on a 30 days trial basis.
The program I downloaded was for 103S. They have also an 103L and 103E version.
A documentation PDF file is also there.
Look in the tools folder for the assembler and compiler.

Thanks for your efforts and good luck.

    Hi everyone.

While we are experimenting with sensor modes for the MJPEG patch, I am wondering if tester could take a look at sensor speeds from another perspective: Rolling Shutter.

I was thinking about how the rolling shutter issue is effected by the frame rate of the video. In 1080/25p we get massive RS, while in 720/50p the RS is much less pronounced. I am just guessing here, but the RS may be caused by different sensor output speeds. If so, can the 1080/25p upped to 50p sensor speed and drop every second frame?

Maybe we would lose some sensitivity to light as the frames would use a maximum of 1/50 shutter instead of 1/25, but I guess for some of us it would worth it.

24p native playback with Audio Encoding bps

Anyone able to get 24p native playback in conjunction with tweaking the Audio encoding bps? I have tried both PAL/NTSC as well as the range within Audio Encoding Bps- anything but the original default will not allow playback in camera.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Nope at this stage this doesn't work yet. 192kbs is plenty especially if you are using a rode video mic which is mono.

But would be nice if it did work!

I added some info about NM103 to my blog.
GH1 firmware can be disassembled without major problems.
You could also note that MN103 is CISC processor, so more easy to understand sometimes.
I believe that bitrate, AGC and batteries check can be found .
Note that processor module source is freely available on request.

Unfortunately, I am sure that GH2 firmware will be encrypted very good (as is TZ7, TZ10 firmwares). Without any hope for dumping and similar things.
