If you look at the larger pics there is a flip-out LCD monitor like the HVX200. Also noticed that it has the kit lens from the GH1.

Since the GH1 is from the Panasonic Consumer division and this is a new release from the Professional Division, I wonder what the Consumer division will come out with to replace the GH1 and when that will happen?

If they're gearing it to film schools and indie filmmakers as the press release says, they may very well have ISO settings just like the RED. And the great thing is that I can keep all the lenses I have for the GH1! Scarlet killer anyone?

Well, at $6000 there is still going to be a big market for a consumer replacement of the GH1.
