EASILY one of my favorites! Cinematography was fantastic! That guy is more spry than me and I'm 36. ZERO complaints. I still can't my 7D to look that good. Loved it man. loved everything!

My only complaint is that is was too damn short.

Matt, I loved your location. Your dad did a good job, too. If the 'water' gave me those powers, though, I'm not so sure I'd be that quick to stop the polluters.

I like the look you create on your movies, you have developed a cinematographic style that can be identified as yours.

I thought the dialogue (levels) seemed a bit hot. But I have to listen on headphones since the speaker on this laptop are so poor so they could have been the culprit.

Terrific look to this film, and the location really sold the atmosphere. Timelapse shots were awesome, and the lead actor was very believable. Only thing that bugged me was the exposition given by the hazmat guys - it seemed a little forced and concentrated. Would've liked the "explanation" to play out a little longer, to draw out the suspense.

edit: I wanted to emphasize how much I enjoyed the mood of this. Atmosphere is one of the hardest things to do in a short films and this one had it in spades.

Blaine I appreciate the fact that you have watched and commented on every one of my films since 2007. And your reviews keep getting better so hopefully that means I'm getting better. Thanks for the cinematography kudos! Some of the lead actors voices were run through a distortion unit for a creepier sci-fi effect, which may not sound so great on laptop speakers. A problem I am very aware of and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
