Westerns are devoted to telling stories set primarily in the later half of the 19th century in what became the Western United States
Bit crap then if your team is UK, China, Jap's, Italian or French then isn't it?

EDIT: Sorry, really meant to add Congratulations to the winners. Really enjoyed this fest, there was some major talent out there I don't think I've seen before. Thanks for all the entertainment guys!

not necessarily, even in the states, most of us don't have ideal environments but there are lots of creative ways around that like JDS said, should be an interesting challenge.

There will be more details but West Fest includes an excitingly wide array of possibilities, including the post-apoclyptic western (Mad Max), or sci-fi westerns like Firefly/Serenity. Dig deeper and you'll find Eastern Bloc Westerns (aka Red Westerns), Anime (Cowboy Bebop), contemporary westerns (Extreme Prejudice), and of course nearly every film Sergio Leone made.

    A Fistful of Dollars (italia)
    Sukiyaki Western Django (japan)
    Quigley Down Under (australia)
The Legend Of Frenchie King (france)

    Congratulation to the winners.

Question to the mods: What happened with the 'Audience Vote'?
