I agree. What a facade!! I received pretty good reviews too... but I'll be honest the critiques are really gonna help me and I'm so honored and humbled to compete with amazing filmmakers!

I'm still waiting to hear back from a mod on mine.

So who ranked last? Lets start a thread where we all guess! j/k

Ouch! I guess not everyone's cup of tea. A learning process IS a learning process though and I appreciate it.
I think that perhaps the best part of the fest, for me, was the general comradeship between all involved. It was really nice not to hear the sh+tfight about this camera/format/you name it VS the other. Thank you everyone for that!!
    Cheers,
    Sam.

I updated my original post with the rating.

I wouldn't call it criminal, Jason. I'm in the same boat as curl in wondering how my first short, the abysmal "Fence Rider" scored and placed better than "Safety" did. The quality of story alone is 1000% better between the first and second.

A part of me allowed the reviews to somewhat guide me into thinking I had a shot, but not making the top ten isn't a HUGE let down because like I've always said, I'm here for the fun of it and to learn.

I think the winners and finalists are all very deserving, and to tell you the truth, like 7 of them were picks of mine. I'm in total shock that FACADE placed where it did.
