Dude, seriously huge thanks on reviewing the films. You;ve been doing a bang up job on the site everyday and the fact hat you'll devote a week to us like that is HUGE! Thanks for reviewing "Mirror Mirror", I of course loved every word and my actors read the review outloud in this bar we were at last night. Quite a trip and a half. So glad I did well enough to garner such a good review.

Can;t wait to see what you have to say about the films you chooose over the next week.

By the way, in the interest of full disclosure, prior to screening the films I have not read a single Betrayal Fest film thread. I literally know nothing about the films, who made them, what they were shot on, who's in them or what the plot is. Every review is coming from a completely "clean slate" with no expectations or prejudices. I have also not been involved at all in the making of any entry, and only know a few of the filmmakers in passing from conversations here on the forums.

Are you reviewing all 49 films on your site?

I'll be watching all 49 (about halfway through so far), but I may not have time to write full reviews of every single film. I'm trying to do two or three a day, and I'm taking the time to write them with the same detail and (lack of) insight as any of my other reviews.

So just relax, Rod. The answer to what you really want to ask is this…

I'm reviewing your film tomorrow, along with "Hero" and "The CharlYie Factor".

I've also decided to offer up my own "awards picks" for this festival, in all of the major categories that the Oscars reward. I'll be posting these picks on the day after the winners are announced, and ALL films are eligible, regardless of where you place in the DVX ratings.

Prizes? Probably not, but you never know. So stay tuned.

Nah, I mean...having someone drop a few notes in your thread and having someone write an actual "review" of your film are two different things. (nervous laugh)

I dig the publicity for the fest either way.
