    Production Log

2/1/10 Mike & John think of an idea for another film for BetrayalFest and proceed to write separate scripts.

2/4/10 John completes 1st draft. Mike laughs as he reads it, doesn't have time to finish his own script.

    2/5/10 1st.5 draft of script

    2/18/10 2nd draft of script

    2/18/10 Casting. Done.

    2/25/10 Principle Photography
All shot in one day. Things went very smoothly. The first time we finish a shoot on schedule, which is a good sign. Mike proceeds to bust up laughing during a take, which is another good sign.

2/26/10 Rough cut #1 completed. Laughed out loud as I edited.

2/27/10 Picture almost locked. Color grading done.

2/28/10 Picture lock. Foley and sound design finished. Everything is done except music.

3/1/10 Mike and John began assembling music. We laughed out loud. Should be completely finished with the film tomorrow.

3/2/10 Mike and John continued editing and mixing music, with some additonal composing of their own.

3/3/10 "myPhone" is officially locked and finished.

3/4/10 Working on encoding to get it to fall under the 60MB mark. Update: Uploaded and approved. WOOHOO!!!

    BEHIND THE SCENES

Yep, we actually used lights on this one.

Rob the Bod and the 3 lb weight. Smile for the camera!

    Yep, more lights!

Mike opts to go with the apple box/sandbag combo instead of a tripod for this one.

    That toast must be tasty.

Yeah, we're doing two films this fest. Figured if we're going to do it, might as well go all in. Hey, why not, right!?

I'm pretty stoked about it!! Not only is it my first dvxuser film I'm acting in since '07, but now the first two films I've produced for dvxuser!! And with this film, my first film I've written specifically for dvxuser.com!! YES!!

Liking the elite title and clean poster/banner work. Two composers? Can tell this is going to be an interesting one.

I have a good feeling about this one.

The poster is making me laugh. (Is that good thing?)
