I think you did a good job telling your story but I think it also required that your characters weren't very smart. The cops didn't seem to bright as they overlooked the obvious. You lead character also took a long time to put things together. The guy who set EVERYBODY up seemed to have it together, though. Looks like he was the only winner.
The characters' intelligence level aside, I liked that you had so much going on in a six minute short. Kudos on that.

No. Like I said, you had a lot going on in there and that was good.

Well thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it. I only asked because obviously as the writer I don't think the cop is stupid, you gotta remember he doesn't know Lenny existed. So to me, he was a pig headed cop who had his version of what he thought happened, and he just wanted Banks to agree to it, not try to get to the truth.
And yeah it may have taken Banks a while to put it together, but Lenny set him up to believe it was Harry, then he hear's Harrys dead, so then he starts to think it was Lenny all along. In any event, it is a film so I wanted to let the revelations happen gradually, without losing the audience. That was the goal anyway.

wow, surprised this one didn't make it. Between this and "Dead Drop" being the two best 'gritty dramas' types of things, I felt like this one was much stronger on account of the better and more immersive story whereas Dead Drop has really good acting, I definitely would have picked Cleaned Out instead but hey...there were a few surprises like that, there's a few movies I would have easily put in top 10 and taken a couple out

Thanks dude! I appreciate that, and I was kinda close, 12th place. In any event, happy a lot of people seem to dig the film, so I hope the longer more polished version for other film fests will get the same reaction!

A great first-fest effort, Sean. Looking forward to more from you in the future.
And congrats on winning a "Festie" (though you do have to share it with another film).

Cool! Does this mean he gets to add laurels to his poster and DVD?
