Has anyone tried this Matte Box?

It is a great matte box as is everything Formatt makes but I've already asked them about using it with the DVX-100. Their matte box doesn't mount onto rods. If you don't plan on using the 16:9 adaptor and / or follow focus then you'll be fine.
They did say they know of people having had a brakcet madeup to fit it onto rods or you maybe able to use others bracket.
