    Hi all,

Thought I would start a thread for everyone to announce when they have managed to read and review all the Scripts.

I've finished reading and reviewing all the scripts

It was a very sombre Fest, with some very emotional tales. Let's hope for a happier Fest next!!!

I would like to thank everyone for getting involved, and for creating some very intersting ideas. I would like to thank the Mods for putting it together as always. I would like to personall ridicule certain people for threatening to enter and then not doing... I won't mention any names *cough* Rodders *cough* Lawrie...

I look forward to the results and the next Fest.

    Congratulations.

    I read them all.

Kudos to all those who got their scripts done on time. Cool that the forum is having script fest, too.

I have read and commented on all the scripts. Probably going to go back and revisit some scripts and threads.

I am always impressed by the amount of talent and good scripts there are in these fests and this was no exception.

Congrats to everyone that entered and put there work out there.

Read and commented on all of them.
I thought this was a very strong Scriptfest, though I've only participated in two.

Thanks again to the Mods as well.
Hope to see some of these in Betrayal Film Fest.

I've read them all. I think I've commented on all them in the threads or in private emails. If I've missed you let me know.

I think all scripts in this fest were solid.

Now if only I thought about mine a little longer I could've got the rewrite in. Oh, well.

How could someone sleep at night, having voted and not read them all.... Oh, yeah, Ambien.

Read them all. Loved most, liked some and well, then there were the cheese graters.
Good times. My rewrite, I owe to all who commented with honest, constructive, original thoughts and crits. Much appreciated.

I read some reviews on here, that looked like people we're reviewing reviews.... That's bogus.
No names, but I imagine getting better, isn't someone like that's primary goal.

I vow right here and now, When I enter this contest, I will read every script and give an honest and thorough review/crit. Winning to me is growing, not placing (added bonus) and I can tell most of us have already won.

Special thanks to Captain for slapping some sense into my story. Big thanks to all the rest as well.
    Bravo friends.

NEWS: The rewrite is now available, anyone willing or interested in rereading/critiquing will get the returned favor or eternal thanks!
Here it is: Waste Not V5 - Thanks in advance! I owe the rewrite to you all.

I predicted as much, which is why I chose to approach it from the opposite angle.

And I'm also bummed that Lawrie didn't make the deadline...

Scripts are all read, now I just have to sit down and knock out the comments.

    Great job everyone!

I'm done. So many different styles and a lot of vivid imaginations!

I'm a little surprised by the lack of reviewers though. For 23 people entered it seems only a small handful are reviewing. I guess I can't complain though. I reviewed 22 and got 11 reviews on mine.

So how does the voting work? When does it start and who gets to vote? Just the people who entered?

I think the mods do the judging on scriptfest.

No, voting's done on this page: http://www.dvxfest.com/scriptfestVI/ just like for the regular DVXFests.

You have to log in, then you should see a group of stars to the right of each line.

You usually have to have at least 50 posts before you can vote, but they waive that if you're an entering filmmaker/writer. If you have trouble, contact a mod.
