I have two cases of Ektachrome from 1974, frozen since new. I tested it a few years ago and it still has an image. The red layer is faded, mostly blue biased, but an interesting look. I never transfered my tests so I can't post. It actually has a tighter grain structure than the newer reversal stuff, but hard to get processed as it is not the same bath. I would like to do a 70's style horror flick with it, hoping to get Kodak to process for free as a science experiment, great marketing for them if it turns out.

no way i would shoot anything and waste a whole cast and crews time on something that "might" turn out.

But if your willing to take the gamble, it might be interesting.

Maybe shoot with a backup camera so you at leats have something.
