The Peleng 8mm is *seriously* wide on the 7D. I mean, it's wide. Take a look at this:
Now, to illustrate how wide this lens is -- the glass was THREE INCHES away from the chart! That chart is basically an 8" tall, 12" wide image, and from three inches it fills the screen from top to bottom. The camera is twenty inches away from the wall, and it can see from corner to corner! This lens is seeing about 16' wide from twenty inches away.
Unfortunately yes, there is some corner vignetting. It's mild, but it's there in all four corners. Still, $300 for a lens that's giving about 160 degrees of horizontal field of view, that's pretty awesome...

I'm getting a little dizzy looking at it. Not sure that I would ever use an image that looks like that though.. It's wide for sure.. no doubt about that lol. Just looks so weird and unnatural though.
