Replacement power supply

I just dropped my power supply (the panasonic OEM one) onto my marble floors, and bam....no more power supply.

I found a new one in LA for $170, and it's in stock....does anyone know of any other options before I spend the money?

Please reply ASAP, I'm about to run out and get it in a few hours.

You could put a couple hundred more with it & buy a panasonic 'cheapie' camera (for a play-back deck) & use the charger/supply that comes with it.

The one that came with my cheapie camera is identical to the one that came with the DVX.

Thanks for the idea, buying another camera may be the way to go.

Do you of you know if the PV-DAC11 Battery Charger will indeed work with the dvx100?

Not sure about the model number of the charger that came with the camera. I do recall it has a different model number than the DVX charger, but looked the same, and the manufacturer numbers on the case were the same.
