    Third Party Lens' Autofocus?

Is it safe to assume that all m3/4 lenses (third party and Panasonic) will all autofocus during video shooting? Also, will regular 3/4 lenses autofocus on the GH1 during video shooting using the Panasonic 3/4-m3/4 adapter?

There's a chart circulating around that's confusing, but in general no 4 /3 (not Micro) will autofocus DURING recording, only pre focus

Also, confusing, but Panny also makes 4/3 lenses in addition to micro 4/3, so the new 2.8-3.5 14-50mm won't autofocus during shooting on the GH1

Thanks, Psynema. That's some good, if not disappointing, information.
On a related note, is there a way to limit the autofocus of the kit lens during video recording to activate only when the shutter button is partially depressed (i.e. AFS in still mode)? As far as I can tell, it's either continuous AF or full manual, which doesn't seem to make much sense...

There is a lock button next to the start button.

So there is! Thanks for the info. Looking into it a little further, it looks like you're not able to initiate AF Lock once recording. You can lock it before pressing record, and are able to disable it during recording, but no re-focus and re-lock mid shoot. I'm hoping there's the equivalent of the "Push Auto" button on my DVX100b, which temporarily turns on auto focus while in manual mode, and upon release of the button, returns to manual focus control, all while filming. Is there a better way to do this than finding focus with the focus knob at AFS or AFC, and then manually turning the knob to MF mid shoot?
