I'm doing some house cleaning and have at least 230 vids that I've found ( 4 gig) of military footage available. These are mostly never seen in public clips. A half dozen contain extreme brutality. I'm done with them but maybe if there are any vets out there that would be interested I'd be glad to hand them over.
As of Monday they are going to dissappear.
I also have a shorter selection of about 12 clips I put in a seperate zip, about 500 meg also, for anyone wanting to see samples. Some graphic still images, but overall an even mix regarging different views from different sources. These were vidoes that I had collected last year or so. They are not mine.
These are mostly for any military people who might want the collection however, but everyone's welcome to the short selection.
I'll send the 4gigs stuff via physical disk to military personal only.
The 12 clip selection is available via PM until Monday morning to anyone else. (Those are not a big deal, just in case anyone's interested.)
Then they are gone from my collection forever and I'm done with it.

Are these royalty free? Occasionally we do a piece or two on a different country, and we talk about some of the hardships in the past. War is very common. I didn't know if these could be used for that. I'm not a vet, so by all means if you have one interested pass it on to them first.

They are not Royalty Free. I picked them up here and there from everywhere.
It was more from researching things than anything else.
The short list are mostly tame. The disk that I'm sending out to at least one vet so far is the real deal.
Most are 320x480 or cell phone grabs taken undercover or from the guys themselves that may have been released later by the government. Some were not. Not anything you could use in film directly. I think as a reference, since actual war is not a widely discussed subject, it could be usefull. No one wants to see the really bad bits, and maybe they shouldn't. It's on the 4G disk for dvx vets though and they are the ones that were there.
So, they would know more about that than me and it may be of interest to them.
