Hello, are there any differences between European and US versions of the 7D? No PAL/NTSC differences, as with the GH1, for example?

There is only one version of the camera for the entire world. You can switch between PAL and NTSC modes.
Current cameras: Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH2 | Sony HDR-SR11 (infrared modded)

Same hardware for all regions, localized firmware for each "language region".

True, the Japanese version of the 7D only has English and Japanese as language options. Provably once they release a new version of the firmware it can be loaded with a European version to support more languages, if that is your concern...

You say that like it's a good thing. If Canon had made a version for EU, the rest of the world would enjoy stitched files and recording times that were limited by CF card capacity and/or overheating.
