The GH 1 shoots excellent video at 1080p. The stuff I've shot so far at 1080p, and with the kit lens, is just great.

There Really isn't much that The GH1 needs to begin with. A more robust compression scheme, aliasing and moire correction and an updated sensor for improved lowlight and fpn would be enough to sink a number of ships.
One thing that cannot be denied is that the GH-1 is the most versatile of them all
and has the most potential to excel in all applications. Oversights like no video out feed during recording may have hindered the first generation but if corrected will solidify the next gen as choice image acquisition tool for video hobbyists and proffesionals alike.
Easily adaptable PL mount anyone?CAMP COMET : FILMMAKERS BLOG | SUPERSEEDS FEATURE FILM (DVXUSER BLOG)

HOLY CRAP!!! NO WAY!?!?!?!?!?
NICE freaking link, Barry. That just made me choke on my Virgin Lemonade. LOL
This is exactly what I'm talking about, though. 299.99 is an investment I'm willing to make per camera to be able to sink these suckers into a more professional environment, outfitted in a fashion suited for the application. The GH-1's really THAT camera, just a few minor glitches to work out. I am pressed for improved hardware as soon as possible.CAMP COMET : FILMMAKERS BLOG | SUPERSEEDS FEATURE FILM (DVXUSER BLOG)
