Help? Shooting on an XL-H1a tomorrow for the first time. What do I need to know?

Dear Canon users,
XL-H1a?

I've got a gig shooting on one tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday, but have never used one before. Whoops.

I know this is a big question, but: What do I need to know?
I'm pretty sure we'll be shooting to tape. Is there any trick to using 24F? Anything else I should know about format on this cam? Anything a Panasonic user might be especially confused with, coming to this cam?
So yeah, sorry I don't really have any specific questions, but any advice - general or specific - would be greatly appreciated.

Download Stephen Dempsey's (disjecta) Panalook preset, load it to the camera (or dial it in by hand), and use it.
