Where to find number of hours?
    #1
    Question
I know... this is a really noob question but I've been trying to search it here and Google and no answers yet.

So, where do I find the number of hours my DVX100 has been used?

I'm going through a financial situation so I'm forced to part ways with it, but as soon as I take care of business I will be buying it again. Love this thing.

... will be on ebay if anyone is interested

Go to the menu then go to the bottom selection that says Other. It is the last thing in that submenu.

No it's not too bad. By the way, the number of hours doesn't mean how long the camera has been on , it means how long the camera has recorded. Once it gets past 500 hours, it's especially important that every 100 tape head hours or so you have it professionally cleaned.

Mind you, it's how long it's recorded to TAPE. My DVX100, purchased in June 2004, shows 124 hours.
