New entry up...promise pictures coming soon. Just did a 4 night stretch while still working my day job and survived. It was rough but the results were good. The finale of the movie is in the can and the footage looks really good.

The new entry features a thanks to all he amazing extras who really helped us out and gives some links to some artists who are part of the movie.

Definitely thanks for you work thus far...I'll be blogging much more frequently as I get access to the stills. And thanking everyone involved...you, Kevin, and Jonathan were definitely a major help last week as we shot the beat battle segments.

And I'll definitely try to find some pics for you.

Taurean Blacque joins ‘BATTLE’


Atlanta, August 26-- ReelOne Entertainment announced today that Emmy Nominated Actor Taurean Blacque joined the cast of “Battle,” the Laron Austin (“BeatMakers”) directed film stars Chris Burns (“The Lena Baker Story”, “Somebodies”) Onira Tares (“Jack Squad”) and Conrad “Headroc” Clifton. Scripted by Martin Kelley and Eddie Singleton. Executive Produced by Cassius Weathersby ("You Got Served") Produce by Kelley and Singleton along with Kenno Rixson and Bennie Swint.

Taurean Blacque is best known for his role as “Detective Neal Washington” on the cop drama Hill Street Blues.

“Battle” is a coming of age drama about an unknown producer RIPPA (Clifton) who pursues his passion for composing music. He wants to produce music for the top rappers in the industry and be respected as a producer worldwide.

“Battle” blends the mood, vigor, and themes of “8 MILE” with the perseverance and edge of HUSTLE & FLOW” with the old school vibe of “JUICE”

New blog entry. Status of production thus far...day 13 of 19 in the can (that's principle photography, there will be some planned second unit stuff) and most of the major set pieces have been shot already.

Going to do a full report (with photos) of Emmy nominated actor Taurean Blacque's work on the film as well as more photos and descriptions coming soon.

Stills man, where are the stills! Com'n Martin share a little!

Not sure how I post them here in the thread. I always update the thread when more stills get posted on the blog.

Don't have screenshots just yet, but the footage is looking really good even RAW.

We're using the Sony EX HD camera.

Could use a tutorial on how to post stills as I'd love to share
