    Great job guys,
As far as technical suggestions, You really need to be father away from the green screen, so you don't have shadows and you can separate the key lighting from the green screen lighting . Then light the key to custom match what your background and mood/fx is to be , night, day, etc...

    Have fun, i
    Cheers

oh we're well aware, we didn't have my lights on us and we only had my house to work with, no room for subject separation. I wanted to do it as ghetto as possible also to see how well the xdcam holds up. (ridiculously well, as expected. was only in 720p, was plenty of res and color for keylight to pull a good key)

The people saying xdcam ex won't key well because it's compressed are insane. If I would have actually lit the screen and tightened it so their weren't massive wrinkles you could have pulled a perfect key with minidv, let alone full raster 1920x1080 progressive

    Thanks man!

people who say it won't key well have never tried it. pretty interesting that there are some well respected, very knowledgeable people spreading these rumors around here... i have not had a problem pulling a key from ex footage even under less than perfect lighting, etc.
