Hi all,
I am trying to create a setup whereby my HPX170 can shoot straight up from underneath a piece of plexiglass, so that I can be used it as a transparent tabletop in a videoshoot. Does anyone know of any existing rigs out there that can achieve this? Or would I need to build something like this from scratch? Any insight would be appreciated.

A lot of tripods will allow you to do this. Stick the tripod head as veritcal as you can get it, and if its not qutie there, adjust the bowl and the legs to get it straight.
Also a magic arm will do this, infact my camera is clamped to my desk pointing directly up right now using a magic arm.Be the HoFos friend: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...62&ref=profile

You could also set a mirror so that the reflection gives you the right shot and shoot that...
