I reunited with my good friend from film school to work with each other for the first time since we shot each others' student projects. While I originally had planned to shoot these spots on a RED, a favor fell through the day before, so we defaulted to my own HPX170. A bit demoralized on the day to be simply shooting 'stock', I was actually quite pleased with the end result, especially after seeing the final edit. Please enjoy.

Hey do you happen to have that HPX170 + SGBlade footage, I thought I saw some a while back from you...

No contest, the spots were just done for our respective reels.

I did post a sample of SGBlade footage a while back, but it went offline when I revamped my website. It was basically a short scene for an actor's reel. So glad we're now in a time that adapters are no longer needed!

Awesome work, love the colors and general mood. Did you use a steadycam on the first one?
    Best regards,

If I had my Merlin at the time, I likely would have, but it was just a simple dolly shot.
