    It's going to be tough to decide between the 5D and this camera. I like both, however the 5D MII has a very high res frequency that is unmatched at this level. The 5D in the LA film scene has caught on pretty strong by some very big names that recognize it's potential.

    It spectacular and very well done. As much as I like the GH1, it's does not have that image pop like the the 5D does...

    That said, both are phenomenal cameras for the money and would like either one for the strengths.

    It spectacular and very well done. As much as I like the GH1, it's does not have that image pop like the the 5D does...
    I saw another clip from the 5D that impressed me like this one, it a was promo for a choir or quartet. Apart from the skill of the shooter, it's really proving that these cameras are capable of serious work and not just to be cast aside as toys.

    The dpreview stuff that I looked at seemed to be oversharpened but relatively artifact free.

    thought long and hard about the 5D and yeah the dynamic range and codec are better but after months with a D90 and no manual control I think the manual control has the potential to get better results in the end.
