do you have to do a modification for the rear part of the lens ? Or is it OK directly on the C mount adapter ?

what's the widest and fastest lenses out there?

wide+1.4 = low light with ENOUGH DOF so you can get more than an eye lash in focus.

26mm 1.1 switar is good example...

Anything under 20mm and 1.8 ish? Not even sure that's possible but is there a 16mm 1.8 (most likely no)

effectively no much swirl such as my Cosmicar. I've bought this Cine-NIKKOR 300$ on Ebay, wich is more expensive than my 20$ 25mm Cosmicar, but less expensive than (a friend of) mine 1000$ Switar

Does anyone have 16:9 grabs of the Navitar 25mm f0.95 lens at all ? It is still available new and and I am *VERY* curious about vignetting or coverage issues.
