Please confirm:
There is absolutely no way to view a live image besides the LCD or the view-finder? Correct?

I know there's no hdmi live viewing, but is there any other video-out on this cam?

This is a FAQ which has been discussed many times in the way l-o-n-g threads here.

To the best of our knowledge -- remember, there are only a small number of folks who actually have a GH1 at this point, and some of them only read English and most are working with cams with Japanese-only menus & docs -- the GH1 does not support any video output when it's in record mode.

It's remotely possible that someone might discover a multi-button sequence to achieve otherwise, but it's not described in the English version of the GH1 user manual currently in _limited_ circulation.

Anything is possible between now & when the GH1 ships worldwide, but don't hold your breath.
