Nandan Rao and Zach Weintraub here. We made a spec trailer for our feature film, Land of the Lost, to be shot this summer on the 5D. We shoot with m42 lenses and we like it. We don't really have a crew, lights, or anyone making this with us, which has been a nice experience. Check out the website to learn more about our film: http://www.lotlmovie.com

looks really interesting. don't want to label it, but i kinda got a modern "Stranger than Paradise" feel from it. I'm excited to see where this goes. good luck.

Looks terrific. Great line there at the end.

    "...take it." <silence>

From that shot and the other shot in the attic(?) that looks like a great relationship.

Cool! I'm dl'ing the vimeo link to examine it up close. I'm so glad that someone has committed to a B/W film...

What about sound? What gear did you use?

    Thanks for the comments!

Mathew Bennett: Well we're trying to fundraise to buy sound equipment, we only have a rode VideoMic which we use recording into a small flash recorder. Not an ideal setup...which is why we hope to find donors before shooting time...

    i like it..

it sure was a mangle to set the 5D on the right exposure for every shot.

I never heard about making a teaser long before the movie is shot, but interesting concept.

    check my first 5D work
