I am sorry to say but I'm starting to think that this may have to be my last dvxfest.

My copy of Adobe Premiere Pro simply cannot export files that will work for the fests. Both this time around and last fest, I experienced this problem.

I cannot export as an mov and keep it under 50mbs without the compression going into supreme overdrive for some reason, and I cannot export as an MP4 without the audio being shifted out of sync.

The worst part is noone can help me figure this out. Someone tried last time around, but it didn't end up working at all.

I am so devastated by this happening.

I feel like months of work, intense work where I did not let a SINGLE DETAIL out of my complete control, has been wasted, because in the end I don't have control, and something has to happen to destroy my work, somerthing I can't do anything about.

next fest you might not have to worry about exporting these files so much as you will uploading any number of versions for live streaming

    Later,

I don't think it's Premiere Pro. I think you are having another issue. I remember helping you last Fest. Many of us use Premiere. No issues.

I've been using it since 1.5

Sounds like we may be in HD streaming heaven next Fest.
Don't worry, the DVX will still look great. You light it very well.

Damn skippy. You do excellent work and I really do look forward to seeing what you come up with, cuz they just keep getting better and better. I LOVE your sense of humor and your commitment to high production value. You can;t quit on us now.. especially since theres due to be a change in the upload and compression policy...

    Yeah, all Rodney said.

Would be a pity - I had so much fun with your entry.

I use Premiere export without any problems.
If I can do it, you can do it. (YES YOU CAN - remember? )

I can give you the exact settings for that.
If it still doesn´t work, let me know and we gonna eleminate the problem.

you could always take it somewhere else for the export.
I don't have an intel mac and edited six inch 45 on mark johnson, tim hyten, and zak forsman's computer.

Jordan and I borrowed friend's computers to work on collections vol. 4.

Between the upload system changing, some of your promises to help me through this tech issue in the future, and the fact that I simply can't stop, I'm gonna stick through it.

You have to understand how damned frustrating it was those first couple days after viewing opened though. Thanks for the support.

You might invest a few bucks in quicktime pro, then export in your native format and use quicktime to make the .mov

    Don't give up though.

You make really superb films, I think you not entering would be a disservice to everyone else involved.
