So according to http://www.canonrumors.com/ there is going to be a firmware update the first week of April. Let's see if it's what everyone is hoping for.

If it is true, the singular 'added feature' is troubling. For me, it is aperture control and 24p. I would be happy with just those two. If I had to pick one, I am thinking aperture....

    1. Shutter control in video
    2. ISO control in video
    3. Aperture control in video
    4. Auto ISO in manual still mode
    5. 24P

If Canon pulls through with these updates, they deserve some real respect and appreciation.

Auto ISO in M mode? That'd be nice.. does Nikon have it currently in M mode?

yes Nikon has had auto ISO for a while. Right now you can do the DOF preview twist workaround and set your camera to TV to obtain just auto ISO but would appreciate not having to "cheat" my camera to achieve this.

To me it seems from the article that there going to have full manual control but not 24P...

I'm guessing it's 25/24p. Afterall, the 30p is giving europe users a hard time.

The easiest feature would be a setting memory. You trick the camera into the settings you want - and store them for as many takes you want.

Of course 24/25p and full manual controls would be even better though...
