Who's going to NAB

I've been the last 4 years, was going to skip this year, but reconsidering.

I spoke on P2 work flow at postproduction world last year, but the economy dictates I stay back and work on making money, not spending it.

I dont think there will enough new products at NAB this year to warrant my interest and expense. There's a major and troubling new trend happening where banks are shutting down credit cards (not just credit lines) by jacking up the interest rates to almost 20 percent. Its a sign of their desperation and capitalization worries.

If this continues commerce will become even more paralyzed than it is now and the manufacturers who are foolish enough to spend capital to rush new products will only be endangering their own bottom line.

This is probably common knowledge, but I thought I'd spell it out that you shouldn't be buying any major purchases on credit card because you will probably get screwed bad.
