    Hi there,
I've got an issue exporting to .aaf. Avid claims that by embedding the audio in the .aaf I am exceeding the 2 GB file size limit. I thought .aaf had no limit. When I export the media to a folder it's only 3 GB. Over the limit that Avid thinks it has but by no means terribly large. What on earth is going on?

    Specifics of the project:

    103 min long
    720p HD
    Using MC 3.1.1

What format is the hard drive in? This sounds like a FAT32 problem if it's on a PC.

Hey everyone. Still haven't found a solution aside from creating a AAF with the files referenced in a folder.

Ok, so there is a file size limit with AAF no matter what anyone says. Best solution is to copy all media to a folder and transfer that. It's a dialog box selection.
