The clock plugin is the only countdown clocker timer I could find. It acts as a generator, but the problem is, it seems generated items like slug and this clock are limited to 2 minutes duration.
I need a 30 minute countdown timer.
Any way to get around this using this clock generator?
(I made an old timer using slug + timecode generator in reverse and cropped it, etc. but it kind of sucks compared to being able to do this one. Would be nice if there was a way to get around the 2 minute limit for generated items?)

Don't worry- there is a trick that can make generators longer than 2 minutes. http://moviola.com/fcp_long_titles

Did that work for you? Because it didn't for me. In the viewer I set the length of the generator clip to 30 mins, then in the controls tab for the generator i set one keyframe at the beginning so it read 30:00:000 and one at the end, which was 30 mins later, at 0.
instead of doing what one would expect ti counts down really quickly to zero and then starts counting down from random numbers.
