FS: DVX100B PAL w/ Andromeda Hardware - ZERO Hours MINT!

We are selling a brand new DVX100B PAL with a built in Andromeda modification. The camera has never been used and there are ZERO hours on the heads. Asking price is $4000 or best offer.

The company who created the Andromeda mod is no longer operating and never released the software that will allow the PAL version of the Andromeda to work. However, if you have a programming background or know someone who does, you may be able to create a version of the software that will work with this camera. There is already at least one programming creating software for the Andromeda:

Once the PAL Andromeda Hardware is working with software, the resolution will be 20% better than the NTSC version
(which is amazing in itself) plus uncompressed 444 RAW etc. The PAL
Andromeda image quality should be even more outstanding. One can easily
conform to 24p (in Cinema Tools or other program) because it is
progressive - no pulldown etc. And it's format independent of course
once you go to that resolution, meaning you can easily convert to both
NTSC and PAL.
