I'll be posting my works in progress here.
Not sure what I'm going to do for this fest. I'll be using Vue and likely C4D.
I'm thinking of maybe doing some images of Hell, Afterlife type of thing.
Lake of Fire maybe and or an underground caves and lava/fire type deal.
Possibly a character of the horned beast himself if I have time.
Maybe use some matte paintings, not sure what method I'll use yet.
I'm going to have a look at the lake of Fire first and see what render times I'm looking at for a breif animation as well as getting a good overall image down.
I'll be trying different flame avi billboards with animated alphas, framerate and time offsets.
I'll post some concept grabs as they develop.
Allllrighty then. Here we go.![]()

As a"hell of an inspiration" (pun intended) look at Dantes Divine Comedy and the 7 circles of hell/Inferno.

Especialy at the paintings of Gustave Dorč on that topic but also to his "Idylls of the King” illustrations.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to seeing you in here Josh.
Jump in too Tower if you have some free time now that your aircraft is finisihed, hint hint.
Here's my test of the Lake of Fire. Just one layer in now for the test. In the very very early stages right now. Quite a bit to do yet. The lake will be more ocean like with more layers of fire. Also need some rocky landscapes and some people in the lake.
So I'm going ahead with the idea. Stay tuned.

Hey Anhar. Well you may not be actively doing 3D at the moment but the knowledge and interest of it is still there so I have no doubts you'll be sitting down again before long and knocking something out.
Besides I heard you were moving over to Maya which means your still at it on some level.
So I don't have any doubts about that.
Glad things are going well for you though. Can't beat that.
Drop in anytime.
I need some chroma footage of a character from the waste up doing arm movements.
Oooh boy, time to give bro a call and get that green screen setup again.
Unless anyone can shoot about 100 seconds for me, hehe.
Otherwise if I do it, it may feel weird watching myself burning in hell. But, hey, what can I do?

Now it's a River of Fire. Don't ask me what I'm doing, I don't know.
I'm still working on it, whatever it is.
