I'm trying to find an easy way to create a paper archive of all my media stored on various hard drives.
Does anyone know an easy way to copy folder and files names from an external hard drive and pasting them into a word doc, MAINTAINING FOLDER/FILE STRUCTURE?
A simple copy and paste in Word reorganizes the text! I'm ready to pull my hair out!

You could use windows search for *.avi or.mov or what ever, and just move the field around so you can see the paths and the file name, and then you could print screen and print out /save the picture in a word doc

sure go into start run >>
type : cmd (and hit return)
then use cd to navigate to the parent folder then type:
tree > c:\Archive.txt
This should create a text file called Archive.txt, if you want to check visually you can just type:
tree
