Not to stir the pot anymore but curiousity has the best of me here - last fest was there any change among the top 8 after round 2? Understand if you'd rather go with "no comment" as its really not important, but I was just curious if the sampling added in the 2nd round was that similiar to the first round. Sorry if you already addressed this, didnt remember it coming up though.

First you do know that
- it's average ratings - not cumulative points right ? So if you and your DP vote 10's for your film and no one else votes for your film. You win. (except for the human check factor, so you wouldn't)
- Yes the files are listed alphabetically in the zips, but they are listed by order of upload individually?
- For accurate statistics I'm sure you know you need a large sample. Throw the alphabet out of a hat and maybe it will come up with mostly letters from the top of the alphabet once or twice. With O2 above, here's the resit of your sample:

The reason I have more info on some fests is just do to the fact that we have more info on those fests due to changes in method, who was running what when etc. But all of the fests above had alphabetical Zip files. All of the above data can be found by any members in the previous fests section.

This discussion has has been carried on far longer than necessary. I appreciate the input, but trust me when I tell you that beyond our ongoing discussion among the moderators I have collected a database of raw data that I use as the basis for my argument. When I tell you that the system we have in place works extremely well its not just vain conjecture, but is backed up by real live data.
I'll just finish up this thread by saying again that we, the moderators, actively review the system, to identify any thing that might: #1) improve the overall user experience for you the participants and #2) improve the accuracy of the results.
