thank you for the kind words on my poster, gabrielflorit and amyo.

i am almost finished filming, i have one last small scene and a couple of pick up type shots, of course it seems that every time i film, something odd happens...

case in point chapter 1 - today i filmed a rather small scene in a parking lot. the scene consisted of one point of view which directly faced the driver. not much else. well, a car decided to park next to ours, mind you the fifty car sized parking lot was empty save for three other lost looking autos, and i parked nowhere near the front door to anything.

then the couple gets out of the car and decides to stand right next to their vehicle, and yeah, the side which faced ours. there was a slight dent on the side of it and i GUESS this was the time for these people to properly assess their property damage. fun. they wound up directly in the shot. i gave them a few moments, who would stay there, right? they did. so i sincerely walked over to them, which took two whole seconds since they parked right on top of our vehicle, and asked them if they could kindly move. and i kept it that simple too, for telling people about filming a movie has gotten me into a whole host of wasteful discussions. i have been asked if i was CNN ( of course i said yes ) to the obigatory " you're filming a porn?" sure, porn, in the middle of a field with one actor - why not? good call, my most inquisitive dropper byer! you see, my actress over there is going to get herself off while fully clothed and running off to her car. of course, after hearing ," no - its a pg type deal " almost everytime, the asker is fully dissapointed. did they wish for me to offer them a role?

in any case, these two people didn't speak english. european of some sort, armed with hearing aids. it was as if the AARP's Croatian contingent sent two of their best agents to dismantle my shot. they looked at me in full confusion and shook their heads. fun! i started to laugh. they didnt think i was funny. the woman mumbled for several minutes on who knows what. she was wearing a mink type coat despite the fact that it was 70 degrees and nice. she was not sweating either. she actually made me feel cold. damn her for that! its still 70 in new york in late october, i dont want to feel cold! i got plenty of time for that in my near future. ugh, winter! well, at least she properly died her hair. it was of a brown color, not that fake red/purple deal most old ladies stray towards

... they finally moved and maybe it didn't even take all that long, ( i guess i could've moved the car, eh, i don't know, it would've felt wrong to move! ) but sheesh... i think the act of filming is always more interesting than the film itself, of course maybe that just means that i need to write better films! ouch.
