Hi there!
I am new to this and I just have that one question...at the moment....
What is this VTR Mode?
All I see is VCR Mode and Camera Mode!
I am TRYING () to import footage from my DVX100B on my Vista Laptop (ew) using Adobe After Effects...and it is telling me that I need to switch the camera into VTR Mode....
I have no clue.....help?
I appreciate any help that you can give...
Thanks!

You are correct in your explanation, but I was answering in simple terms as to the original poster's question. The O.P. was trying to find "VTR" mode on his DVX100, and could only find "VCR" mode, and on a DVX100 they are one and the same.

No need to be picky, its basically the same thing....Tomato, tomato....For those of us that have done linear editing or worked a dub station, we would be more familiar with the term "VTR." I think its more of a professional vs consumer thing.
