I feel like this happens with many show, but once a dynamic works, it has to ramp up at some point.
I've enjoyed this season, but don't like how much of an action show it's becoming.
When they're robbing trains and destroying police evidence rooms it takes away from the close intimacy I've loved about the show from the pilot.
I'm still very into it, but just don't find the same magic in this season, or haven't yet.
Walt will definitely not go down willingly, I'm intrigued as to when the cancer comes back.
I'm very surprised Mike is in with them, but really can't wait to see how we get to walt buying that machine gun at 52

Amazing episode last night.

I love the choices they make. The score and the absence of diegetic sound in that opening scene was haunting...it gave real weight to what preceeded and what was about to happen. These guys do cinematic better than most movie makers...watching the truck's shadow move in in the first shot...their shooting style is always making the audience ask questions.
Also major props to the acting. In the first shot of Walt he's stripped of artifice...as nasty and manipulative as he's become not even he was immune to the tragedy of these circumstances (though he quickly gets his nasty back on
).

Wow, tonight's episode was amazing. Mike wanting to call out to his grand daughter at the park but couldn't was really touching. However, Walt can officially rot in hell.

I still haven't decided what I think about the past few episodes...
