Any chance of making these for those of use who are DIY challenged or hate DIY?

Hi y'all!
Just moved in to big ol' Texas!
I'm checkin the nearby home depots and walmarts for local stuff to be able to make it easy to source parts for our DIYs!
Stay tuned.

Hi Ted
I'm so impressed with the rails, follow focus and mattebox combo you've made! They look really professional!
I've already made a DIY loupe out of some low grade binoculars from Poundland and a Johnson's baby powder tub. Now I'd like to have a go at making the setup you have using your instructions. I was going to start with the rails but the instructions picture is a bit low resolution. Do you have a bigger picture?
How do you make the baseplate to attach the camera to and how is it attached to the rails?
Is the tubing for the rails steel or aluminium?
Sorry for asking too many questions.
Thanks very much!
Stuart

I think that part of the joy of DIY is doing the work yourself. It's not that you have to do everything that Teddy made on here, mod it to fit your needs or if you can't find a part make it yourself.

I've done a *similar* thing to make a petal style lens hood for the wide angle lens on my HDR-FX1. The paint is drying, so once it's all finished I'll post a pic.
