Hey there! Thought I'd finally start a thread for my film now that I'm sure I'll get it done in time for the deadline. I shot this in March (with a reshoot in April), but haven't had a lot of time to focus on editing and post until recently, so I wasn't sure if I'd make it. Rough cut is done, titles are in the works, and I have a good idea of how the CC is going to go, so that shouldn't take long. But, here's the poster. BTS to follow.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's work!

For those of you who enjoy this sort of thing, here's a couple of BTS shots that show my little set up.

1. DVX100a with Letus35a adapter. That's a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 on there I believe.
2. JVC field monitor - upside down 'cause the 35a isn't a flip. Yeah, that's a high chair, too.
3. Lowell Omni 500w lights (another is off to the side behind me as I took the picture). Rented for a ridiculously low price from work.
4. My lovely actress.
5. Not my truck. Just wanted to get that straight.

Setting up for a shot looking out the window. I had to bump up the inside light so that I could see what was going on inside and out without too much of an exposure discrepancy. (Picture taken by my actress while she was entertaining herself with my still camera as I set up.)

Cheyenne's explanation of how you operate a camera. Still taken from actual footage.Last edited by AmyO; 06-08-2008 at 02:37 PM.

Welcome to the fest. Poster looks good.
I invented the "remove echo" audio filter. And only people that boom their actors closely get to use it.

Woohoo! Portland, represent! I'm still amazed I haven't seen you about town at the various filmmaker events.
