Hello all. We are seeking various crew for our short film that will be shooting from the end of May through June titled 'Red Moon Rising'. See Synopsis and poster below.
Exact shoot dates:
Sat 5.31.08
Sun 6.1.08
Two days in June TBD (most likely 7th and 8th)
We are now only looking for a...
CAMERA OP (or a DP that can run camera would be even better)
We will be shooting with a Panasonic HVX200 with a SGPro Rev 3 35mm adapter. Familiarity with lens selection would be nice. Being able to use a follow focus to pull focus is a must (there will be a good amount of action). If you have a Demo Reel... sweet, let us check it out.
We have most of the lighting setups worked out but we need a good person to help out with additional ideas and if you'd like add suggested shots to our story boards. We like a Camera Op/DP that is collaborative and would want to add a little "spice" to the shots.
PAY
We can only offer you 150 dollars a day and good food. Sorry for the low pay guys, we know you all deserve a lot more and we wish we could pay you more. If you have a good amount of grip equipment and maybe some lights we can bump up the pay (take what we would give to the rental houses and give to you kind of thing).

Synopsis (read in deep dramatic voice):
Young Joshua holds a family secret passed down for generations. A secret so important, that it could change the fate of the very world that he lives on. He is pursued by a dark and mysterious organization bent on using the secret for their own personal gain. Something that Joshua must keep from happening at all costs. Escaping torture, and an army of brutal thugs, does Joshua have what it takes to fulfill his destiny and keep the secret safe for the future generations to come?
