A little over 2.5 hours. Sections on basic principles, microphone choices and gear, recording techniques, location management, and post-production basics, all roughly the same length -- except recording techniques is longer. More info is available by clicking the link above.

Just watched most of this (everything but post, saving that for tomorrow!) This is incredible! I actually thought I kinda had a clue as to get good sound. Ok yeah not so much I was getting "ok" sound, but now I have the tools in my head to get really good sound with the equipment I've been using poorly. Just seeing it done makes so much more sense than reading it.

Also this video is a riot! Barry and everyone do a great job of entertaining. My wife (rarely involved in prod work) watched with me and enjoyed it and came away with knowledge of why certain things are better when and was asking questions. Kudos to you guys for making this something that interests people with little knowledge of the field.

I'll definitely be using some of my new knowledge to play around this weekend and see what I can do. Thanks guys! Even if you arent aspiring to be the sound guy this is worth watching just so you know what the heck and why they are doing what they do.
