Congrats on placing in the top three. Good to see Texas on the board every now and then.

Congrats guys. Denton Texas represent.
Maybe when I'm visiting my folks in Aubrey we can hook up for beers at the very least.
Thought about taking advantage of the small town production value in Aubrey a few times to shoot something there as well.
Anyway congrats, well deserved.

Hey Jack,
I'd love to hook up for a beer if you ever visit the area! Especially since I didn't get to meet you (or anyone else) at the L.A. screening...
Thanks for the congrats! Are you planning on entering anything in the next fest or do you have bigger fish to fry?
Later,
Daniel

Hey Daniel,
I thought that was a great film... I might be a bit late on arrival to say it, because I had totally forgotten about Time Fest until now, but I kept on thinking about Primer and the style that this short evoked, which was good... did anyone else notice the similarities? Were you in any part inspired by the film?

Thanks for the feedback! The story was not my creation but as for visual style, pacing and feel I would say there is a definite "Primer" influence. I love that movie and the fact that it was made in the area (North Texas) makes me even more appreciative of what they accomplished with that!
Honestly, I am not a huge fan of traditional sci-fi (whatever that means) but I really liked Primer...the simplicity of the production that allowed your focus to settle on the story and the idea behind it.
Anyway, hope that answers your question. Thanks for checking it out!
Daniel
