Hello from Auckland, New Zealand.
I am working on a GY-HD101. I have upgraded the firmware to CPU version 1904 as recommended by JVC.
The camera was not always switching off properly on the old firmware and we were told that upgrading the firmware would fix this problem which it did.
After the successful upgrade we decided to do the calibration which normally takes about an hour using the Dansa Adjustment Program of GY-HD100/110 series / program number PLKS1312 / version 06-00 / revision F.
The problem now is that the calibration only goes a couple of minutes and then doesn't go any further. It stalls after a couple of reboots and colorbars on the screen. If you try to use the camera there is a line down the middle of the screen.
I understand that this split display means the calibration is out.
Does anyone know where I go from here?
I tried re-loading the firmware which it also seemed to accept the second time which I thought was odd.
Any clues would be great as I have a keep customer for his camera back in working order again.
Regards,
Chris
