    norbro-

for years, prelinger was housed in an old warehouse in chelsea.

    it was an amazing place.

very well organized with racks of u-matic tape machines ready to pull from tape screeners organized by time code.

    i used that facility ALOT!

i was very sorry when they sold out the archives.

the thought was the web would make everything visual and analog eventually "free".

    ugh.

    thumbs up.

A bit of instrumental music from the ... past.

For those who didn't grow up in the Soviet 60's-80's .. consider yourselves lucky .. but this was one of the highlights of the Soviet TV, opening to the Animal Kingdom, a popular program from that era.

Speaking of the Soviet era, Andrei Petrov was a star composer and this was one of his most famous melodies. (Valse is waltz)

Been listening to classic Stones singing ‘bout the apocalypse lately. Can’t imagine why.
