I Love the sound of the Fender fretless jazz bass.
Fender Jazz Fretless Bass
Smooth jazz bass solo fretless Harley Benton JB-40 FL
...
The Rickenbacker 4001 bass was my first fave back in the day. Used by many including Rush also. The rikki. I only know the 4001 sound so I can't speak for the rest. Very recognizable by it's unique shape.(Black body with white trim back in my day. 1977) And sound ofcourse.

When you're playing a Rickenbacker because the NSFW sound quality is paramount.
And, for coup de grace --
Make sure you're playing everything louder than everything else.

I’d joke that next y’all will post Lawrence Welk videos but that’s actually been done already.
Big sources matter.

Just click on the YouTube link.
And here's another song from the "Office Romance", performed by the female lead of the romcom Alissa Freundlich. With a nice montage from the film itself.
And another.
.
As I mentioned in the "Soviet films" thread, Andrey Myagkov passed away yesterday at 82. He sings the second half of the number, beginning at 2.30. He was voted the top male film star for 1977. Freundlich the top female.
