“Sound of Silence” is my nominee for most depressing song ever. It just beat out “Knights in White Satin” for that title.

That era, what with the Vietnam War and social upheaval ( and LSD ) produced some very downer / depressing music. Whereas music in the 80’s tended to be more upbeat / light / superficial.

“Scarborough Fair” makes me want to slit my wrists, it’s such a downer of a melody.

Gotchya. I'll keep that in mind when posting. I like to keep it upbeat but wander sometimes -wink. Your stuff is good so please post more when you feel like it. It certainly takes me out of my zone sometimes. I love new music too ya know. -Thanks man.
